The absolutely stunning Marrakech

Marrakech is a UNESCO World Heritage City located in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and this totally non European city with extensive French connections will not disappoint. Stay at a Riad in the old part of the city, the Medina.

Traders pack the narrow streets and swoop on any tourist. A strong will is needed to shake them off, but all in good grace. Bartering is the order of the day. The Jemma el- Fraa Square is a central vast meeting place with plenty of action. Snake charmers and street entertainment will be in full flow from early morning. By dusk there are food stalls a plenty with a extensive array of choice with a local delicacy; sheeps head! Restaurants close by compete by offering entertainment. Belly dancing- and much more if you search off the beaten track!
