The Terrace at The Den brings the tropics to Covent Garden with BACARDĺ Añejo Cuatro
This summer, The Den at St Martins Lane hotel is delighted to be opening its doors on to
The Den Terrace in collaboration with the newly launched BACARDĺ Añejo Cuatro rum.
The Den will bring the outside in, becoming a tropical oasis filled with palm trees that will spill out onto The Den’s secluded outdoor terrace in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. From 15 May to 30 September, The Den Terrace will be inspired by BACARDĺ Cuatro and the Caribbean glamour it represents.
The mirrored entrance leading to the terrace and The Den lounge will be lined with palm trees and ferns, as well as the BACARDĺ print vinyl on the
walls providing the perfect backdrop for photo opportunities. The space will feature tones
of opulence alongside accessories including plants trailing over drawers and palm tree lamps
on the central tables. Plants will take centre stage throughout, with cacti, banana trees and
Kenetia palms decorating and enclosing the space as a natural haven. The terrace itself will
have an arch of fern foliage as the focal point, alongside an array of greenery from flower
pots to mini cacti on the tables. The décor and surroundings are designed to make guests
feel they have left Covent Garden and entered the tropics, especially when relaxing with a
BACARDĺ Cuatro cocktail in hand.
Indeed, to complement the interiors, there will be luscious additions to The Den’s usual
menu. An exclusive drinks list will feature several rum-based cocktails, including the Cuatro
Air Mail comprising of BACARDĺ Cuatro rum, Champagne, honey, lime and a dash of orange.
Guests will also be able to enjoy The Den’s much-loved afternoon tea at the space, but with
delicious additions such as Piña Colada Cake, coconut dacquoise, pineapple confit, coconut
mousse with BACARDĺ Cuatro and Mai Tai Baba Almond Cake, infused with orange bitters &
BACARDĺ Carta Negra rum, Cointreau and lime cream. These sweet delights incorporating
BACARDĺ Cuatro add an extra indulgence and summer style to the classic afternoon tea.
The tea will be priced at £39.50.
Set to be a desirable destination for all Londoners looking for an escape for the summer, St
Martins Lane is delighted to be collaborating with BACARDĺ Cuatro rum to create a hidden
oasis in the centre of Covent Garden.
