Camden’s new festival themed rooftop experience with open air cinema, DJs, a botanical canopy and Prosecco popsicles – Wonderfest Rooftop.
FEST Camden embarks on another unmissable concept for their spring summer 2019 season: Wonderfest Rooftop celebrates a rich history of iconic festivals all over the world with a fully transformed roof garden and immersive festival experience. Soft launching on April 19th and running through until the end of summer. Wonderfest offers a perfect way to eat, drink and party festival-style minus the mud and rain.
This year is the 50th anniversary of historic Woodstock and next year Glastonbury turns 50, so what better way to celebrate these landmarks than with a unique new inner city and permanent festival vibe on the rooftops of FEST in the heart of Camden?
The stunning roof garden will be utterly and breathtakingly transformed with a fully themed, 360 degree experience offering a lush botanical canopy suspended from a wooden gazebo frame, lifelike artificial grass lawn throughout, colourful Umbrellas and comfy festival furniture to chill on.
Of course, the all important soundtrack comes from live acoustic performance throughout the day and on point DJs in the evenings. Their selection will match the mood with a dazzling mix of disco and sun-soaked house that, in unison with the summer rays, will make for some seriously steamy sessions. As well as the music, a carefully curated collection of movies will be shown at the Camden Rooftop Cinema Club. It is here that the films will be projected onto a huge open-air screen while you have food and drinks brought right to you. Perched at the end of the Wonderfest terrace the cinema will feature festival inspired films, crowd pleasers and classics
To keep your energy up, there will be a delicious Mediterranean Barbeque menu with an open grill open all day, everyday, as well as a stone-baked pizza oven and freshly made salads. Watch your dishes being created in front of you including succulent grilled Greek Souvlaki Kebabs, Superfood Salads and creative Mezze Sharing Plates that are great for mixing up and tucking in as a group. Zucchini croquettes with tzatziki dip, spinach & feta goujons, crispy calamari and Dakos salad are some of the exciting mezze options. Wonderfest Pizzas are made from fresh home-made, hand rolled dough which is stone baked with classic mediterranean toppings. You can also look forward to a Vegan Walls Ice Cream pop up to keep you cool.
The all important drinks come in the form of Prosecco popsicles with popping candy, Espresso Martini on tap, frozen Bourbon slushies, Palomas and Pimms, as well as a themed cocktail list where each one is based on a famous festival.
