A scent inspired by a sophisticated flower, originally native to China, whose name derives from the ancient Venetian family of Mocenigo.  For over 200 years, this unique rose has been grown on the family’s historic residence in Venice, brought there from France in 1814 thanks to Lucia Mocenigo.  Lucia was friends with the beautiful Rose (Joséphine) Bonaparte, who is perhaps better known as being Napoleon’s wife. The epic game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur last week highlighted the strength of the English Premier League and the global appeal of Premier League football.
In a roller coaster game of attacking football four goals were scored in the first 21 minutes.The new off field VAR system introduced to help referees come to the correct decision ruled for Llorente’s crucial third goal for Spurs and against Sterlings stoppage time “winner” for City.
With the score line 4 – 3 on the night and Spurs goal from the previous game making the score 4 – 4 over the two legs Spurs emotionally progressed to the semi finals on the away goals rule.

Cannes Film Festival 2018: Female stars protest for equal rights

Dozens of women film stars have held a protest at the Cannes film festival against gender-based discrimination in the industry.

Cate Blanchett, Kristen Stewart and Salma Hayek were among those taking part in the red-carpet demonstration.

The prestigious Cannes festival has come under criticism for failing to showcase more films by women directors. The protest comes after a period of turmoil in the industry following allegations of sexual harassment. This is the first Cannes festival since allegations of sexual abuse were first made against producer Harvey Weinstein last year. He has always denied engaging in non-consensual sex.
