All-new fragrances from The Merchant of Venice, for him and for her….
FOR HER
Travelling on a journey that starts from the Northern borders of the African coast, The Merchant of Venice has masterfully bottled the aromas and scents of the indigenous plants and flowers of these lands for a brand new fragrance, RED POTION. The heady scent captures orange blossom, rosemary, and the caramel-esque notes of the hardy immortelle – a flower known for its charismatic perfume. The signature red marbled bottle symbolises the fire-coloured sunsets reflected in the ripples of the Venetian Lagoon and the red velvets of the gondolas. Red is very much a colour that permeates the city of Venice….

Exiting Cannes Film Festival 2019 Awards!
PALME D’OR: GISAENGCHUNG (Parasite) réalisé par BONG Joon-Ho. The 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival wrapped with jury president Alejandro González Iñárritu announcing the group’s unanimous decision to award the Palme d’Or to South Korean director Bong Joon-Ho for his sly, politically charged “Parasite.” Following last year’s win for humanistic Japanese drama “Shoplifters,” the well-reviewed Asian thriller represents the yin to that film’s yang: the story of a lower-class family who try to improve their social situation by infiltrating a rich household. The dark comedy centres on an impoverished family of hustlers who move into the home of a wealthy entrepreneur, his wife and two children.

‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ is an Intriguing highlight of the Cannes Film Festival
Touching Love Story with Hollywood 1969 with Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt playing a TV actor and stuntman who cross paths with the Manson cult, Tarantino has created outrageous, disorientating entertainment. Rick Dalton, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, a failing cowboy actor and alcoholic going to seed in the autumn of his career and in moments of bad temper beginning to resemble Jack Black. His best friend – pathetically, his only friend – is Cliff Booth, played by Brad Pitt in his Ocean’s-Eleven mode of easygoing competence and imperturbability. Cliff is Rick’s stunt double and has an awful secret in his life: a grisly event for which he may or may not be guilty. Cliff has to drive Rick everywhere because he has lost his license, and he is Rick’s best pal, assistant, factotum, and the person who has to straighten Rick when he bursts into boozy tears of self-pity. Rounding up the beginning of Cannes Film Festival 2019
Cannnes film festival never disappoints with lineup of movies felt like a call to pay attention in a world in turmoil. This year even before the festival’s midway point, it was clear that this year’s Cannes, with films from all over the globe, was positioning itself as a festival for a world teetering on the brink. No matter where they hail from, filmmakers are telling stories about people on the verge of revolution — or an apocalypse festival opened on Tuesday with a zombie apocalypse: The Dead Don’t Die, Jim Jarmusch’s gently scathing tragicomedy set in small-town America -it’s fizzy and fun, with an undertow of despair: an apocalyptic zombie comedy in which an excess of polar fracking has warped the planet’s rotation and reanimated the corpses at the local morgue.

An unrelenting Venice Biennale shows artists in a time of crisis.
La Biennale di Venzia is a festival of modern art, architecture, cinema, danse, music, theater and historical archieve. The origin of this festival began in 1895 in the occasion of the first International Art Exhibition and now the 58th edition is taking place from may o november 2019. This festival’s caracteristic is that everycontries are devided in pavilions and in everypavilion there is a representant of the country. For this edition, the french pavilion represented by Laure Prouvost is remarquable. The entrance to the French pavilion is through the dug-out earth below, sending you back to nature. The Spanish pavilion sends you outside to witness the threatened vegetation beneath spouts of bright acid rain. In the German pavilion, a toxic brown stain pours down the walls to a thrumming soundtrack of inchoate menace. There are barren rocks everywhere.
